Log your Live income
Go to 🔴 Live Counter before you start streaming. Hit Start Session, then tap the quick-add buttons (+$1, +$5, +$10, etc.) as gifts come in. When you're done, hit End Session to save the total with date and duration. View past sessions in the Session History table.
Track your Shop commissions
Go to 🛍️ Shop Tracker and add each commission as it clears. Enter the date, order number, product name, amount, and status (Pending, Paid, or Returned). Your monthly total and commission breakdown update automatically.
Manage your brand deals
Go to 📬 Brand Pipeline to track every deal from pitch to payment. Add a deal with the brand name, value, deliverables, and due date. Move deals between stages: Pitched → Negotiating → Contracted → Completed. Each card has a disclosure tag — tap it to cycle through Ad/Sponsored, Gifted, or Affiliate so you always know which FTC disclosure to use. Below the Kanban board, the FTC Disclosure Templates card gives you one-tap copy of ready-to-paste disclosure language.
Add all income & expenses
Go to 💳 Transactions or use the Quick Actions on the Dashboard. For business expenses, use + Expense. For personal spending (groceries, gas, dining out), use + Personal Expense — it opens the form pre-set to "personal" so you don't have to flip the toggle every time.
Track fixed bills
On the Dashboard, scroll to Monthly Budget Overview and tap Set Budget Limits or Edit Bills. Add your fixed monthly bills (rent, car payment, insurance, subscriptions) with amounts and due dates. Check them off as you pay each month.
Set budget limits
Set spending limits per category (groceries, gas, entertainment, shopping, etc.) in Budget Limits. Each category shows a color-coded progress bar — green when you're on track, yellow at 80%, and red if you've gone over. The main Spending vs Income bar shows your total spending as a dollar amount overlaid on the bar.
Track your personal expenses
Variable expenses (groceries, gas, dining out, shopping) are shown individually with their own ✏️ edit buttons. Each one shows the date, description, and amount. You can edit or delete any entry by tapping its edit button.

Use the Debt Snowball / Avalanche Calculator
Go to 🎯 Goals & Debt in the sidebar and switch to the 💳 Debt tab. Add all your debts (credit cards, loans, car payments) with balances, interest rates, and minimum payments. Then choose a payoff strategy: ❄️ Snowball (smallest balance first — builds momentum) or 🏔️ Avalanche (highest interest first — saves the most money). Slide the Extra Payment slider from $0 to $1,000/mo to see how fast you'll be debt-free. The calculator shows your debt-free date, total interest paid, interest saved vs. minimums, and a full payoff order timeline. Open the 📅 Month-by-Month Breakdown to see every milestone.
Set and track goals
Go to 🎯 Goals & Debt in the sidebar and switch to the 🎯 Goals tab. Set goals with a target number and track your progress. Categories include Income, Followers, Savings, Debt Payoff, Content, and Personal. Each goal shows a color-coded progress bar. Use the 📈 button to quickly update your current number, or ✅ to mark it complete when you hit it.
Log your content hours
In 🎥 Creator Tools (switch to the Creator Hub tab), log hours spent on Lives, content creation, editing, brand deal work, and admin. This proves business intent to the IRS and helps you calculate your true hourly rate.
Track barter & free products
Got free products from a brand for posting? Log them in Creator Tools → Creator Hub → Barter & Free Products with the fair market value. The IRS treats these as taxable income — Creator Counts tracks the total for you.
Check what you actually keep
The "What You Actually Keep" card in Creator Tools → Creator Hub shows your income minus expenses, minus estimated self-employment tax (15.3%), minus estimated income tax — so you see the real number that hits your pocket.

Log every deduction
In 📋 Tax Base, hit + Add Deduction for every business expense — gear, software, phone (business %), internet (business %), props, shipping, travel, meals, home office. Each one lowers your taxable income.
Use the Mixed-Use Calculator
In Tax Base, the Mixed-Use Deduction Calculator shows you exactly how much of your phone, internet, and computer you can write off. Slide the business-use percentage and it does the math instantly.
Stay on top of quarterly taxes
The Quarterly Tax Calendar in Tax Base shows due dates (Apr 15, Jun 15, Sep 15, Jan 15) and estimates what you owe. The Safe Harbor Checker tells you the minimum to pay each quarter to avoid penalties.
Export your tax data
When it's time to file, hit Export Tax CSV in Tax Base. It generates a CSV with your income and deductions mapped to the right categories. Hand this to your tax preparer or import it into any tax software that accepts CSV files.
Edit or delete anything
Every item in Creator Counts has a ✏️ Edit button. Tap it to open a modal where you can change any field. At the bottom of every edit modal, there's a red 🗑️ Delete button with a confirmation prompt — so you won't accidentally delete something important.
Plan with "What If" scenarios
The What If Scenario Planner in Creator Tools → Creator Hub lets you plug in different income/expense numbers to see projected annual take-home. Great for goal-setting or deciding whether to take a deal.
Track gear depreciation
In Tax Base, add your big purchases (camera, laptop, lighting) to the Gear Depreciation tracker. Choose Section 179 (deduct it all year one) or straight-line (spread over multiple years).
Save receipts
In 📋 Tax Base, the Receipt Vault lets you upload receipt images and tag them by category. Stored securely in your browser — great for proving deductions if you're ever audited.
Back up your data (portable!)
Go to ⚙️ Settings in the sidebar and hit ⬇ Export Backup. It saves a dated JSON file (like creatorcounts-backup-2026-03-24.json) to your Downloads folder. This file is fully portable — you can restore it on any device, any computer, any browser. Just open Settings on the new device, tap 📂 Import / Restore, pick the file, and all your data comes back. No cloud, no servers, no accounts. Keep your backup file somewhere safe: USB drive, Google Drive, or email it to yourself. Back up at least once a month!
Share your stats (anonymized)
In 🎥 Creator Tools → Creator Hub, the Share Stats card creates a shareable summary of your stats (income range, hours worked, platform breakdown) without exposing exact numbers. Screenshot it for your Stories!
Recent Income at a glance
The Recent Income card on the Dashboard shows your last 5 income entries with source icons (🔴 Live, 🛍️ Shop, 💼 Brand, 🔗 Affiliate, 💰 Tips), amounts, and edit buttons — so you can quickly review and fix anything without leaving the home screen.
Auto-sync Live & Shop to Transactions
When you end a Live session or add a Shop commission, Creator Counts automatically creates a matching entry in your Transactions list. No more double-logging — everything stays connected.
Print your Monthly Summary
Go to 📄 Monthly Summary in the sidebar for a clean, printable overview of your month — income by source, expenses breakdown, goals progress, and debt status. Hit 🖨️ Print / Save PDF to save it or print a hard copy. Great for tax prep or keeping records.
Tap any table row to edit (mobile)
On mobile, you can tap any row in the Transactions, Shop, or Live Session tables to open the edit modal directly. No need to find the small edit button — the whole row is tappable.
Add to your Home Screen
Creator Counts works as an app on your phone! On iPhone: tap the Share button → "Add to Home Screen." On Android: tap the menu (⋮) → "Add to Home Screen" or "Install App." It launches full-screen like a real app — no browser bars.
Track Recharges & Gifts
Open 💎 Recharge Tracker in the sidebar under MONEY. Log every coin purchase by tapping + Add Recharge — enter the date, dollar amount, coins received, platform, and any notes. When you gift coins to another creator, tap + Log Gift to record who you gifted, the value, gift type, and reason. The stat cards at the top show your Total Recharged, Total Gifted Out, Coins Remaining, and This Month Spent so you always know where your money went. Tap any row to edit or delete.
Quick-delete with Undo
Every table row has a red 🗑️ trash icon right next to the ✏️ edit button. Tap it to instantly delete the entry — a toast pops up with a 5-second Undo button in case you made a mistake. This works across Transactions, Recharges, Gifts, and all other tables. No more digging through modals to delete.
Floating + Income button (mobile)
On your phone, look for the pink + button floating at the bottom-right corner. It appears when you're on the Dashboard, Transactions, Live Counter, or Shop Tracker. Tap it to instantly open the income modal — no scrolling needed.
Mark recharges & gifts as business expenses
When adding a coin recharge or logging a gift, check the "Mark as Business Expense" box at the bottom of the form. This automatically adds the entry to your 📋 Tax Base deductions — no double-entry needed. The Gifting Budget bar on the Dashboard shows how much you've spent vs. recharged this month.
Set up recurring monthly bills
In the Dashboard under Fixed Expenses, tap Edit Bills and add your rent, phone, insurance, or any monthly bill. Check "Auto-reset monthly" so the app automatically unchecks "paid" at the start of each month — no re-entering the same bills. Recurring bills show a 🔄 icon so you know they'll reset.
Search everything instantly
Use the 🔍 search bar at the top of the screen to find anything across your entire app — transactions, Live sessions, Shop commissions, expenses, goals, debts, recharges, and gifts. Just start typing a name, amount, or date, and matching results appear instantly. Tap any result to jump straight to that section.
Log refunds & returns
When a Shop order gets returned or a Live gift is refunded, open + Log Income and pick "Refund / Return" from the source dropdown. Enter the amount — it will automatically show in red and subtract from your monthly income total. No more manual math to fix your numbers.
Auto-track income goals
When you create a goal in 🎯 Goals & Debt → Goals tab, check "Auto-track progress from income data". The progress bar will update automatically based on your real monthly income — no manual updates needed. Goals with auto-tracking show an "auto" badge. You can still set manual goals for things like followers or content hours.
Budget overrun alerts
If your spending in any budget category goes over the limit you set, the app will pop a warning toast with the exact amount you're over. The main budget bar on the Dashboard also turns red if total spending exceeds your income. Check your Budget Limits section to see which categories are in the danger zone.
Import data from CSV or copy-paste
In 💳 Transactions, tap 📥 Import Data to bulk-load entries instead of typing them one by one. Use the CSV File tab to upload a spreadsheet export from your bank, payout platform, or Shop dashboard. Use the Copy-Paste tab to paste data from notes, emails, or another app — one entry per line, comma-separated (date, source, amount, notes). You can import into Income, Personal Expenses, or Business Expenses. The app previews your data before importing so you can double-check everything.
Use the Checklist for daily tasks
Open 🎥 Creator Tools in the sidebar and switch to the ✅ Checklist tab to track everything beyond money — content to film, brand deliverables due, tax deadlines, and personal reminders. Tap + Add Task, pick a category (Content, Tax, Brand, or Personal), and set an optional due date. Tasks show OVERDUE or DUE SOON badges automatically. Check them off when done, and use the filter dropdown to focus on what matters right now.
Track Super Fans & Subscriptions
Open ⭐ Super Fans in the sidebar to track your fan club and subscription revenue. Tap + Add Subscription to log a tier (Super Fan, Tier 1–3, VIP, or Custom), the monthly amount, subscriber count, and status (Active, Cancelled, or Expired). Check "Auto-log as Income" to automatically add the revenue to your Transactions. The stat cards show your Monthly Sub Revenue, Active Subscribers, Total Earned, and Cancelled (30 days) so you always know your recurring income at a glance.
